>>2760944It depends a lot on where I am camping, what time of year it is and if I'm alone or not.
I always carry a 420ml titanium mug and recently got a lid for it too. Mine is by boundless voyage, but that's just because it was the cheapest non-shady listing on AliExpress. I paid 11€ for that mug (with coupons, regular was 15 I think). That mug is mostly for coffee and drinks though.
For heat it depends. If there's no risk of a forest fire I'll either carry a stainless folding wood stove or dig a dacota fire hole and use wood.
If I'm lazy or the forest is very dry, I prefer a gas stove. I have a cheap folding no name one, but it works, was cheap (like 5€) and refused to break, so I keep using it.
I also tried cold soaking once, but it's not very pleasant honestly.
For cookware I sometimes carry a cheap Aluminium jetboil-esque pot, but honestly rarely, it's extra weight and not great for anything but boiling. Most times (and always if I'm not alone) I just carry a aluminium pot/pan combo. Big enough for 1-2 people.
For cutlery I have a folding fork, screw-on chopsticks and a titanium spoon with a long handle.
Honestly, cheap Aluminium pot/pan combo, a cheap gas stove and cutlery is fine. A nice titanium mug is more of a luxury, but I love my morning cuppa.
For coffee I just carry a metal filter, I immersion brew the raw coffee in the pot, filter it into the mug and drink. You could just as well leave the filter home and wait for the coffee to settle, but I don't like waiting and prefer a more filtered coffee.
Picrel are some of the listings from my order history, assume the stores and listings to no longer exist, but there'll be different ones with similar or identical items. Honestly the only stuff that's premium here is the titanium spoon and the mug. I'm also a big fan of the screw-on chopsticks, but everything else is rather generic.
If you aren't used to AliExpress, if the total is cheaper than the item on the screenshot that means I used coupons.
