>>1085171I should say so, I just got back from hiking the GR11 and apart from in the Basque region and maybe three thunder storms the nights were dry. There are also loads of places to set up a good sheltered tarp. One of the guys I walked with for a bit was just using a poncho tarp and bivi. Just keep an eye on the clouds and pick your spots accordingly.
