I just killed my first mouse. Before this I haven’t killed an animal except a rabbit that lied mortality wounded on the side of the road so I smashed his head with a stick. I don’t know what to think. I hated this mouse for ruining my home but now that he is dead I feel sadness. I am also quite sad because the mouse trap seems to have smashed his front leg instead of his neck so the poor fella probably suffered a great deal. I found his corpse under a carpet so he must have hidden under the carpet with that mouse trap stuck to his arm. :(
