Arguably the worst landrover there is in terms of 4x4 (actually an AWD) as it has some weird floating viscous coupling unit my garage always like to remind me how crappy an invention it is. However they are so damned cheap 2nd hand as the first incarnation had many problems and put many people off running them. This model has the bmw td4 engine and is alot more reliable than people think also it was Europes most popular SUV at the time so spare parts at scrappers are also ten a penny. Comfy as fuck to drive and a little more punt on roads per engine size than the average discos of the same age. She a demon in snow and can outperform defenders/discos on flat wet field terrain. Also new Discovery Sport is really just the freelander/evoque rebranded
