>>1147864I just bought it today. I’m soooo tempted to go back and get one for myself and girl and my mom both offered to buy it for me but I don’t need it.
>>1147866Because the price mang! I don’t need it either but it’s a steal. Leathermans rarely go on sale, and when they do it’s like $10 off the ones that nobody buys, not th Wave.
>>1147868I have a Skeletool in my tackle bag and I like it because I didn’t need a 3” saw n shit.
Anyway girl’s dad’s birthday is Friday and he left all his tools n stuff in Venezuela when they moved so we were at the mall and she got him a little Craftsman set that was on sale for $40 off $100. She saw the Gerber Suspension there too for like $35 and was like “Oh! He used to have one of those and loved it!” but I said tools because that set was much more for the money. Then she gets home and her mom bought him some Stanley set and I’m like “Tell your mom to bring it back, yours is better anyway” but mom is stubborn as hell so it wasn’t happening. So she has to work the next few nights and I was like “Ok I’ll bring the tool kit back and grab a multitool, but I’m gonna spend a few extra $$ and get him a Leatherman because they’re the go-to” and had to explain to her that he probably bought that Gerber in Venezuela because a Leatherman would’ve been like $300.
So I stopped at Sears and they had the Sidekick with no price tag and it rang up like $40 but didn’t even have a sheath. So I was like fuck it, just spend the extra $50 and get him something nice and the Wave rang up $44 and some change.
