>>2690831I don't think it freezes but it could potentially get down to 2-3 feet by low summer flow. Some rivers are just uncrossable and that's kinda why they have civilization pop up around them since without a bridge crossing would be much harder.
There's one place, not a river but a creek, and they have a little wooden platform with a rope that you use to pull yourself across the creek
