I'll have to be very careful about that then with ebird and be sure I'm accurate I suppose.
I've also recently looked into merlin more, because I was going to suggest some features. I found in their FAQ that they are planning on adding a history of past identifications. Which is just perfect for me at least until I am good enough to not require merlin to identify different species.
I actually emailed them last week asking about it, but I have not heard from them yet.
Another pic of Lil kinglet, they are actually not native to the area, but I spotted three or four down at a creek on my parents farm. They were very friendly, but I have not seen any since. Although I am guessing they do something else during the winter.
