The term "peak oil" only describes the the point of maximum oil production. Nothing more nothing less. It is not going to change the world. Acctually were most likely not even going to notice it! Experts talk about "Peak Cheap Oil" (which is considered 20$-45$ bbl; passed this mark in the 2009 crisis)
