Checked the catalog and did not see anything related to processing game. I have been hunting with good success for a little over 5 or 6 years now and have butchered my own meat with the help of friends so I have a general knowledge of the process but would like to take the next step and set up a space to do so on my own. I have ample area in my garage and my idea is to set up a hanging gambrel on one of the cross beams and find some stainless steel tables to keep on one side of the garage to debone, and do the grinding and slicing on after the deer is quartered.
I have not yet purchased a grinder or slicer (like the circular kind you see at a deli, not sure what they are actually called) and was hoping that someone could provide some insight into what brands to look for as well as some pointers for the whole operation. General butchering thread. Appreciate any help.
