Bass were going nuts for topwater and pike were stealing my lures left and right. Not bad at all for NW Illinois. Trespassing is pretty much the only way I fish, everything else just fucking sucks. My buddy even got a 4lber. I know you used to live around here and know that you don't see bass like this around here every day. If I went to some public lake I wouldn't have gotten shit.
