Ontario is quite humid and what I keep hearing about bivy's are the are not so good with condensation.
I would image you'll wake up wet from what I've heard.
Again, I don't have any bivy experience, but that's just what I've heard.
I've been looking at "bedrolls" too. basically heavy duty bivy's from what I can tell.
