got another bass with a turtle bite on his belly. third one so far. all out of the same 20 square yard area of water right by shallow water and a fallen tree. what I'm sure is happening is the bass are suspending in the shallow water over where a submerged and buried snapping turtle is waiting, and when he smells them he's taking a very enthusiastic bite upwards.
