You can't train one that's for sure. They're bullheaded as fuck and they do want to kill.
My sister has one and we took it kayaking and when a pod of dolphins came up around us the thing jumped in the water and started swimming off into the ocean trying to eat one. Fearless hunting dogs is what they are but they're not guard dogs and my sisters is always a sweetheart around every human it meets. I think this is the norm.
