Snowy peaks, large evergreen areas, surprising number of flowing creeks for the area, and of course lots of dry dead stuff. I don't worry half as much about bears as I do mountain lions. Also, don't get caught in a fire or start one, they are regular occurrences there. Oh and personal use of fire is illegal, even gas stoves. Your best bet here is trespassing.
