Caught this guy today. I also caught another one (same species, northern pike) before, but it was half the size. This one was still pretty small so I put him back too. I could've kept it if I wanted, I figured there wouldn't be much meat on it though.
Incidentally this was the first time I've caught something without using bait (I used a small white and green spoon with a silver backside and a treble hook with pinched barbs). There were like 10 other people fishing in the area but I think I was the only one who got anything.
