maybe steeper ones further south but I never been that far
so some dude used the topo maps and calculated the avg grade of the gorges in some places in appalachia and pic related works out to 54% AVG slope
so it wins steepest unless u know of a place with more
I haven't tried hiking down to the creek and back but I want to come back and try that.
I want to get back out to extreme SW VA on the plateau and eastern KY this spring to capture early greening on the trees.
