>>1250874Yeah, I was really dissatisfied with the A/B stereo image (in X/Y config the mics don't fit in the dead cat) so I tried it like that... This was a real bitch to record and I don't know if I was up to the task, lol. This is at the entrance of a big cave, surrounded by walls extending into the sea as you can see in the pic, so the stereo picture is really limited and there's tons of deep reverb coming from behind. Over two days I recorded a ton of sea stuff in the area. Pics are in the same order. The last one I think is the best, it was done with the omnis clipped to my shoulders. Those cheap ones are easily overwhelmed by sudden bassy sounds, as you can tell. I was sitting on a promontory 6-7m over the crashing waves, it was an amazing time.
Please tell me how these sound, between the stormy weather and the technical stuff these were a real challenge!
