I'd go hiking on gym clothes because I didn't know any better and paid the price. Searching for info online I came across their articles, then visited the store and they explained with much patience what kind of shoes I should wear for the terrain, backpack stuff, etc. Laugh at me all you want OP, but I appreciate how they helped an absolute noob
