I’ll post the interior tomorrow since it’s late and waifu is asleep.
Currently removing the rear double seat, leaving a single rear seat for a random passenger or shopping.
I got some rubberized water proof mats that are custom fitted.
Just last night I fitted most of the heat/light shades that use suction cups to fit into the windows. Very useful in a pinch at service areas where light are always blasting and people are walking around then van constantly.
I had an L400 Delica in Australia with a single cot. It was “ok” but was very useful during peak summer in Brisbane/Gold Coast/ Sydney as the yoga mat set up had me swimming in my own sweat.
The only down side of a single cot is they are narrow and the bars unless padded can dig into your elbows, knees and shoulders and cause discomfort.
I will most likely just sleep on a seat that folds down into a bed mat. They are common in Japan and are about 20-40 USD and offer adequate comfort when tired. Fair for a side sleeper but better for a back sleeper.
They do have alot of sleeping options here, ranging from cool mats with memory foam to hyper expensive salary man 3d printed memory foam pads that use pyramid shaped weight/hear dispersion patterns that can cost $2000 but are highly rated.
Will get a 150,000 mah battery and a solar panel that sticks flush to the roof mainly used for keeping myself and my husky cool.
Will install window bug mesh covers that won’t effect the light blocking whilst having all 4 windows slightly down. They all have those exterior rain bubble thingos so rain won’t get in if they are down 3 inches
Mainly creating this so when I go out drinking in new cities I can save $50-100 usd a night and camp in a parking spot lmao
