Better to walk around the herd, or straight through the middle and part them?
I've never once considered them dangerous and have taken the direct route plenty of times, but my current walking buddy gets right on edge and starts coming up with loads of horror stories about them. I dunno if he's being a wimp or if I'm being too flippant.
