>>445385Like I said this final bed was created using the last of the wood, and thus I had to make some design concessions due to the whims of my materials. This particular corner, for example, was a nightmare. The bottom board had a piece come out while I was nailing it in, and it developed a nasty crack when I did get it attached. The second board is very dry and was just solid enough to get two nails in without falling into a pile of sawdust. The third plank was mismeasured somehow and ended up being about 2.5" too short, so although it was in better shape than the other two planks, nailing it in was still a challenge. Luckily I got all three boards attached, and surprisingly they seem to hold up as strongly as the other joints, for now.
