Born and raised in NYC, the only opportunity I had for the outdoors was when I'd go up to my grandmother's in Upstate NY. Loved riding my bike around, even though it was always way too small. Hope to pick it up again once in Colorado.
I've been to Austria twice and went on bike tours both times. First one we kept on the main road to some little hotel that I can't say the name of, on the way back we went into some hiking trails. The second time, the tour went around the eastern side of the Achensee Lake in Austria (Pertisau to Achenkirch). Would've loved to go around the entire way but we switched off to another group and took the bus back to our hotel. Was in terrible shape for it but really enjoyed it.
