I kept it outside because my dorm has very narrow corridors and it's a 29er with fairly wide bars, which makes it difficult to bring into the dorm. Even rested the way it is it takes up about 90% of the width of the corridor which makes it harder to move about. Also dorm rules technically say I can't have it inside
Anyway, lesson learnt, i'd rather be fined or inconvenienced than have it stolen or damaged further.
