All the benefits of the zippo (multi fuel, wind resistant, etc) but it doesn't leak or evaporate fuel and if you run out of fuel you always have a spark. You can get chink knockoffs for next to nothing on eBay, or you can buy a vintage one.

Permenant match beats a zippo. O ring keeps fuel from evaporating and will burn any liquid fuel. I've filled mine with a lady friends perfume at the trail head. Smelled a little but worked fine. Plus you have a spark when you run out of fuel. Real ones can be difficult to find since they don't make them anymore but chicom knockoffs can be had in e bay for a couple dollars.
