Andrews >Unnamed lake, Snohomish County >June 3, 2000Being relatively far North in Washington I just cant see our state producing a global sportfishing record for Catfish. In the South the record is like 7lbs. Does any one else think this might be a case of a Game Department that never handles catfish being unable to differentiate between a Channel Catfish and a Brown Bullhead?
I cant even picture an 11lb Brown Bullhead, and am currently waiting on the department to send me any documentation that might have on the record, especially photos.
