Had a sheet of window insulation plastic on the ground, then a 2mm eva foam mat and a self inflating mat, which was more than enough.
Slept in a 30F down quilt with a thin liner. It didn't actually get too cold, just dropped into the high 20s for a short time but with my puffy I was more than warm enough.

This pic is what I have slept in the most, a basic tarp tent. I've also recently picked up a zpacks hexamid which I love. Someone put it on ebay for a decent price so I couldn't miss the chance to buy one without import fees! But I wanted a cheap silnylon tarp for mucking about in the woods.
