What's the best kind of hat for going out in the rain? I settled on beanie/hoodie + jacket hood years ago because it's been expedient, but now that I've grown too lazy to shave, I want to keep my beard dry. I've tried bamboo hats in the past, and they work really well (and for magnifying sound, too), but people think I'm in some kind of racist costume and avoid me. Suggestions?
