We have a bunch of them and most of them are now mixed, but the only ones that we can let out of their cage are from the Wyandotte breed (we had two blue, now only one and a white). They're super calm and they're also the smartest. The others we can't let them out and let them eat weed and grass or whatever they find because they fly away (literally) or won't ever go back and it's too bothersome to catch them.
You can't even easily touch the others, they're practically wild animals. Especially the small Japanese chickens, they're completely retarded. This is despite the fact that all the chickens had the exact same upbringing.
