Ypu should also know how fly lines are labeled. It starts with that code (wf or dt) followed by the line size (6 wt for example) and then the sink rate indicated by an F for float, I for intermediate which kinda sinks but not really, or the letter S followed by a number for sinking lines(s4 for example)
The number in the s-code is the sink rate, an s3 line would sink 3 inches per second, a s6 would sink 6 inches per second. So let's say I had a double taper floating fly line designed for a 4 weight rod; that line would say 'DT4F'
Or less say I had a weight forward 9 weight line that sinks at 7 inches per second, it would say 'wf9s7'
If I had a 5 weight floating line with a weight forward taper it would be 'wf5f'
