>>1828461Right now I’m just driving to the beaches and getting a good snorkel here and there. There’s some nice trails, but unlike the mainland it gets sweltering very fast, so I’ve avoided the lengthy ones for the most part. Might hit the reef bay trail this week if its early enough in the day. There’s good fishing, but the local government is a little anal when it comes to permits. No waves to speak of, so surfings out of the question, but the relatively calm waters make for a great kayaking trip. The sailing’s wonderful, though I don’t have my captains yet so I don’t have much other than that to say. The salt ponds make for great birdwatching spots too. There’s a lot to do down here, and a trip is definitely recommended.
