I use a leatherman squirt ps4 as a keychain whenever I go, it's really small and light, I use it a lot. Most remarkably once I got locked inside a bathroom with a faulty doorknob. Used the screwdriver and pliers to put apart the doorknob, got out and then I repaired it with the same tool.
I also have a leatherman wingman, it's like the little brother of the leatherman wave, not so many tools but it's really unexpensive. It still lives up to the leatherman quality. I carry that one on fishing and hiking trips, also has proven itself useful. It has locking blade and scissors.
