but forreal, you don't know what college football/baseball/basketball is until you come down to the south, it's practically a fucking religion in some parts. and being able to partake in something as cool as that is definitely a plus.
Go walk around LSU's campus on gameday, then watch a game on a saturday night, it's literally a nonstop party from sun up to midnight, the best food you'll ever eat, and the nicest people you'll ever meet. The entire city has a special air to it on saturdays, and sometimes the entire week leading up to a big game. And this goes on from August to the end of December. it's hands down one of the coolest things ever, an no sports culture even comes close, the closest probably being irish/british/aussie/NZ rugby, that shit is a blast
