I have 50 acres, a couple tractors and some pieces of equipment. Wife and I garden in a smallish scale, but have expanded every year, and am building a greenhouse to extend our growing season. We preserve and can a good amount.
Have a dozen laying hens and sell the eggs we dont eat. I hunted a lot as a child and am trying to make more time for it this year.
Have a good amount of standing timber on our property, I harvest and process my own firewood, and am currently building a sawmill to make my own lumber.
Going to cut some cedar posts this winter and fence a section in the spring and try my hand at raising a few pigs
