ive since bought a 55L bag, 3 season sleeping bag, fleece liner, bed roll, 13x12 tarp, bivvy, waterproof poncho/overpants and a set of thermal blankets.
About $180 total (I got the bag 1/2 price on sale)
going to get those extending stick things to make the tarp into a tent and work on building a first aid kit
I plan to play it safe and in baby steps since i have no idea what I'm doing, so im gunna pick a spot close to home and go out when the weathers half decent.
Hopefully I don't die and do enjoy it as much as I think I will.
