>>1262053I assume you are talking about road tripping and car camping, then yes, BC is a goldmine. Just expect to pay top dollars for fuel. Lots of roadside fruit stands, mountain 'resort towns', and camping. you will be restricted to the roads most likely, as it is very rugged and inaccessible back country. Strict environmentalism is to be observed in governmental/crown land. The southern interior is a mix between redneck, hippy, and wealthy citiots. Larger towns in the interior have fairly healthy tourist industries that would provide cottage/houseboat rentals, helicopter tours, beaches/beachfront nightlife. Many American draft dodgers from the Vietnam era ended up in central BC so there are communes, spiritual retreats, dirty hippy hijinx in some areas. Lots of orchards, vinyards, acreages, and farms.
>5 star developed hot springs>totally raw, coming out of the rock hot springs with a glacier-fed mountain stream to dunk in>very nice provincial campgrounds placed on primary highways>gamut private campgrounds on secondary highways
