Rode a train (Arizona to Georgia) for the first time last year, one of the most fun things I've done in my life but I got sick as a dog after. Turns out I have a chronic lung infection that got irritated by all the dust ;-; doing a lot better now tho, hoping to ride to chicago or new york this fall
>>277670890% of the time just get kicked off, maybe a ticket. I did have some friends get arrested at gunpoint by a jumpy state trooper in Eugene OR recently tho. Never heard of anyone getting beat up but I'm sure it happens occasionally.
