>>2150877My soil is pretty shitty initially too. Most of this was originally a gravel lot on clay soil that got overgrown with weeds. Here's what I do, it's a fair amount of work but the results are great. Sorry for super shitty photos.
So I start by digging a ditch about 4 feet deep or so and then line the bottom of it with logs. On top of that put some of the dirt from digging the ditch and then put a layer of smaller sticks and some paper is fine at this point too.
