You should be preaching to the hordes of people in South America, Asia, and Africa who are breeding at an exponential rate, slashing and burning jungles, practicing dirty manufacturing, and dumping waste directly into the oceans. If we were to factor out the influx of foreigners, the population in developed countries would actually go down to a sensible level.
However, the Western world IS guilty of aiding and abetting the unchecked and irresponsible growth of these countries through humanitarian aid, the outsourcing of labor and manufacturing, and allowing them self governance. Perhaps our greatest sin is tolerating mass immigration, encouraging anyone capable of improving their society to leave it for better opportunities in ours, along with the dregs of their society who may otherwise force a reckoning on the question of overpopulation. Open up a Google map of San Paola, and realize that is the end result of free immigration, the entire world one extended, filthy, crowded gutter.
