I like him.
I like him specifically because his videos are long, and he talks so much. I want verbose gear reviews. Too many "reviews" on Youtube are stupid 5 or 10 minute long homemade videos, where the reviewer is like "I bought this knife. It's, uh, sharp. I like it." That's the entire review. No mate, I want to know the reviewer's philosophy behind how he uses the gear, I want him to go out into the backcountry and thump on the gear, I want him to compare it to a half-dozen other similar items. I want depth and detail. Nutnfancy delivers. Here are four examples.
Here he is reviewing some mini lights by Foursevens. Part of his testing is that he throws the light off an overpass onto the pavement below. And he tosses it in a pool.
