My favourite: the paperbark tree; found along the east coast of Australia.
a) yes, the bark is a lot like paper. Burns easily
a2) you don't need to use an axe to gather campfire fuel from it
b) a large patch of bark can be fashioned into bowls and plates
b2) and as a cover of the fish/
et.al when roasting food under hot coals
c) the bark often traps water inside-- find a good-sized tree with little bark damage, make a slit near the bottom, and the rainwater runs out.
d) the tea-tree species of paperbark, can, yes, can brew their lives like tea
d2) and you can distill the leaves for lots of tea-tree oil, which is a good antiseptic.
