Upper peninsula of Michigan. Only about 25% is inhabited and settled, the rest is beautiful dense forest and waterfalls. We do have a couple small mountains but it's more of a hunting and fishing state. The winters suck ass so you may have to be self reliant for 5 months or more. Also alot of finn's lives up here because of the very similar environment and yearly climate. Pretty much all white except for a few reservations up here but it's still a "good ol boy" kinda state. Only blue county is Marquette so stay clear if you dont wanna run into any leftist fags that go on the trails and take a selfie every 5 mins. Pretty comfy and based area that basically seems like it own state.
Also beware or the Michigan dogman that dwelves within the woods.
