So I have some seeds from a Korean varietal of pear that I took from one, and I was getting to thinking about seeing if I can get them growing. There's an empty space for a tree right now around the house and I was thinking if I can get a sapling or few of these pear trees growing, it'd be perfect to place there.
I was thinking I would plant them in some pots come January so that it's not too early and by the time March hits, I can transfer one to the ground at least. I was also thinking of letting the pots stay outdoors during the day but bringing them in at night so as to get any potential sprouts accustomed to the outside light without having to worry (as much) about transplant shock.
Thoughts? Advice? The seeds look mature enough, so I think it should work...
