>>2018408I particularly enjoy Subsistence - 10 bucks on Steam and it's still in early access/alpha so not a robust game, but a very nice game that reps cool climate/upper mountainous forest territory. Progression is slow and resources are hard to come by early game, and very easy to die to the sparse wildlife - but whenever I get the highly unrealistic urge to build a cabin in the woods or rough it in the great outdoors I go back to this game. You can even make yourself a super comfy build with some modern amenities by taking out rogue poachers and getting their high tier shit, and multiplayer is a blast - kind of like Rust but without the completely toxic playerbase. Recommended
