Alright guys, what kind of line should i use with spinning reel when im ice fishing? My last fishing trip with some coated dyneema line was a real shit show. All my line guides and reels line roller had so much ice that i needed to break it it off in large chunks after just a few minutes of fishing. On top of that the remaining water froze on my spool and the line did not come off freely after that. Im pretty sure the main problem was that the line was way too thick and had a lot of surface area to collect water. Should i go with thin mono or fluorocarbon or some fancy teflon coated shit?
