I'm always recommending Coleman tents to friends and family. They are cheap and reasonably well made with proper quality control, but not light. I don't think anyone i know having problems with one. They sell giant ones, but have small 2 person tents as well.

What has changed is that Ultralight faggots such as yourself make it an exclusive sport, where, when you come with a MSR Hubba tent and a Toacs titanium pot, you get called a heavy weight LARP dinosaur. It's fucking gatekeeping and i'm not having any of it.
This thread is specifically for budget stuff, there is nothing wrong with using silverware from the kitchen or a >6 pound tent. You will not perish over a few more grams.
Check out piano room anon, he went to his local park with a heavy tit-pouch and brought his gun. Going without, or with a gun that is 200g lighter wouldn't have changed his experience at all.
