Not everyone can (or is willing to) shell out $130 for a gimmick lantern or $80 on a set of two basic aluminium pots.

The pot and gas stove are like twice what you would pay for them if bought on AliExpress or Ebay. (stove is $10 tops and the pots are around $15, $11 if you don't mind green handles)
The gas lantern looks nothing like the one on the anime, despite me already having posted a knock-off of the Coleman lantern from Ali. (OK, it is kinda expensive at around $48)
The table as you posted is also overpriced.
He's just going for the cheapest he can find on Amazon and there's rarely anything cheap on Amazon.
