Fishing kings. I have received my fathers rod and spinning reel, as well as my grandfather and great grandfathers fly reels. I was also given a full tackle box and more of lures, hooks, line, etc.
I'm a little overwhelmed. I've been fishing before, but I've never handled fish. At this point I'd like to just catch and release until I feel comfortable keeping the fish. Grapevine and Arlington lake around here have Large mouth, Spotted, and White Bass as well as catfish.
Are all these lures, hooks, and line really necessary for some simple fishing?
