You can head towards indianola and mcalester lake through canadian or just take 69 to mcalester. Going through Canadian you won't see anything you haven't already in regards to scenic views, a few hills, and alot of green shit. But eventually you will end up on 69 south through kiowa if I have my way, and while blanco has plenty of shit to see as well it's like bengal, and even I might get lost. But, if you happen to find yourself past wardvill, near buck Creek on 69 south. Stop at the turn off near buck Creek. It's on Google maps. Just past wardvill, the water mass on the west side. That's christal blue. That's all I care to share, and definitely some shit you won't find on travel websites.
