>>2051632Is the better reply. As far as the tides go they are just under a meter for the river but they are several meters where the ocean hits the shore. The reason the tides are so low on the river is because all the water has to pass through a tiny opening called reversing falls, so the water level on either side of the falls can be way higher than the other. On high tide the water from the ocean rushes in, on low tide the water from the river rushes out.
Fishing at the reversing falls is amazing because every fish that comes to the river from the ocean enters through the opening, but you can only do it during slack tide. There are shitloads of stripped bass people catch there
