When fishing with this boat I like skirting the shores on a calm near windless day or with a light breeze. Where I fish we have 4 rocky wave breakers protecting the marina which are close to the shore which one can walk to one or swim to the other about 1 pickup truck distance..
What I have learned is not to fill the inflatable boat to the max pressure when you're out in the hot summer sun so to factor in some expansion.
They do sell overhead shade covers that fit into the fishing rod holders. I've seen some on aliexpress and also on amazon. I prefer things that can be carried via transit/bicycle first. I drive but sometimes having a portable semi concealable boat lets you play hooky easier then a heavy boat when you're trying to escape the in-laws, family, chores, gf/wife, or get out of dodge.
